Jason
congratulations on a very interesting blog.
I have also just started one, http://www.africancapitalmarketsnews.com, also accessible on my website, http://www.afrigrow.com. Would you be interested to exchange bloglinks? – I have already added you to my website.
I’m still working mainly from local media reports and press releases on websites, until I get time and enough readers to warrant more original and analytic reports. I am focusing on the institutional developments – I used to be GM of the Namibian Stock Exchange a long time ago and I am still fascinated by the challenge of getting more liquidity into the African markets.
Any other places you can think to ask for links?
Also any interesting sites you can suggset for analysis and strategy for African markets?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Mr. Wulterkens,
I have just discovered your blog and I want to thank you — very interesting and informative. I am a research analyst interested in frontier markets, and I was wondering: do you know of any in-depth book(s) written on the subject? If you do, could you please recommend one or two for me to read? If you could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,

Hi Jason,
You might want to add Harding Loevner’s Frontier EM Fund to your list (HLFMX). The fund has been up and running since May 2008 and posted a strong return in ’09 (see link above).

Hi, Jason.
I am happy to have come across your blog, as I have a longstanding interest in emerging and frontier markets.
Although these latter are not easy to access for the retail investor, I have been a happy investor in HLFMX.
Additionally, I grew up in suburban Minneapolis, and have a degree from the Humphrey Institute, down the hall from your Carlson School.
Let’s stay in touch!
Chris
